The book-in process starts at 5:00pm and goes until 10:00pm everyday. To be eligible to come into the shelter, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a male of at least 18 years of age
- Pass a breathalyzer and eye test
(We are a ZERO tolerence shelter)
- ID is not a must but is preferred
Once we confirm the following information, You will be required to answer some basic intake questions and sign our agreement to follow the policy and rules while staying at the shelter.
As we do not allow medications in the dorm, Residents are required to hand in medication during the check in process. After this is done, the resident may request medication during thier stay but must follow the dosages as listed and sign a medication tracking sheet. This is to ensure everyone's safety and to avoid misuse.
While a resident is at the shelter, they are allowed to fill a provided tote with belongings and a bag to keep at the assigned bunk. If a resident has excess belongings, we allow them to temporally store them downstairs but if they leave for more than 30 days; the items will be disposed of.
The following items are not allowed on shelter property and must be handed in to staff or disposed of upon entry:
- Sharp Objects
- Mouth Wash With alcohol
All Items will be returned once the resident books out or leaves for the day as requested.
